這個酒店原址是商會大廈，建筑較為傳統(tǒng)，外立面呈歐式新古典主義風(fēng)格。在基于對整體建筑周邊分析過后，基本確定建筑外立面不做大的改動。整體商務(wù)酒店設(shè)計重點(diǎn)放在主入口門頭及酒店標(biāo)識系統(tǒng)的有效呈現(xiàn)上，增加外立面光環(huán)境設(shè)計及景觀燈光設(shè)計，以此突出酒店主入口的空間氛圍及標(biāo)識性。

The original site of the hotel is the chamber of Commerce building, the building is more traditional, the facade is European neoclassical style. Based on the analysis of the surrounding of the whole building, it is basically determined that the facade of the building will not be changed greatly. The overall business hotel design focuses on the effective presentation of the main entrance door and the hotel logo system, and increases the facade light environment design and landscape lighting design, so as to highlight the space atmosphere and identity of the hotel main entrance.

客人從步入酒店的一剎那，便能感知到酒店的氛圍及其文化品質(zhì)。作為設(shè)計師，酒店文化性如何呈現(xiàn)是最為重要的，設(shè)計技藝，功力，與主創(chuàng)設(shè)計師的修為相結(jié)合，恰如其分地體現(xiàn)出傳統(tǒng)文脈綿延的底蘊(yùn)隱透于空間本身，傳遞出江南地域文化的品格意味。
